The directors of Ovenden Papers Limited and Davies Harvey & Murrell
Limited are delighted to announce that agreement has been reached to effect an operational merger of the two companies with effect from 1st October 2005.
Although the issued share capital of Davies Harvey & Murrell Group Limited has been acquired by Ovenden Papers Limited, Davies Harvey and Murrell Limited and Ovenden Papers Limited will both continue to function for the long term, as limited liability, self-contained legal entities.
The two businesses will remain in their respective locations and will operate as full partners within the new structure. On a day-to-day basis Michael & Nigel Ovenden will continue to run Epping while David Little and Peter Blakeley will retain their responsibilities as joint MD?s of DHM.
Paul Guest and Martin Randall will remain very much involved on an ongoing basis in a wide variety of corporate areas including AIMS, the new organisation?s interface with the professions, and vitally their existing customer responsibilities.
The new organisation represents an annual turnover of over ?20million, and overnight becomes one of the largest independent merchants serving London and the Home Counties. The consequence will be a robust, self-determining paper merchant delivering increased benefits to customers, suppliers and staff alike.
This is a very exciting development for everyone involved in the two businesses and we look forward to working with you to continued mutual advantage.

Ovenden Papers would like to welcome Paper4Print to the AIMS group.
Paper4Print operate from two locations in Liverpool and Manchester and with their turnover the AIMS group now command just under ?90 million turnover with 365 employees and 120 sales people.
The group now consists of 10 members and with the addition of Liverpool, AIMS has an even better geographical coverage.
